Walgreens was recently featured on NBC’s Today Show, in a segment featuring the important role of pharmacists during the COVID-19 crisis. Pharmacist Jamal Downer shared his personal commitment to the profession, reinforcing that he was coming to work “with a purpose.” Also mentioned was Walgreens’ plan to hire 9,500 workers in response to the pandemic.
